My fiance and I decided to take a trip from the Cincinnati, OH area to Toledo, OH. During our trip, we stopped at the Toledo Botanical Garden. The Toledo Botanical Garden is 60 acres and includes a variety of flowers and plants. Included are herbs, wildflowers, roses, azaleas, and rhododendrons. There are also vegetable gardens and a variety of trees. On site there is a replica pioneer homestead as well as an artist village. The artist village includes small houses with art studios. We went on Monday and the art studios were closed, but they looked very inviting. Several also offered classes that you could just drop in and attend. It was free to visit the Toledo Botanical Garden and it is open daily from dawn to dusk.
