- They want you to leave happy.
- You don’t have to have a receipt.
- You don’t have to have anything but the item, even if you have used it.
Essentially, the employees in the store are trained on how to help you regardless of your situation. So if you are worried or concerned they might not take something back, my advice is to just give it a try. The worst that will probably happen is that they will give you a merchandise credit. That is never a bad thing at Bed Bath and Beyond if you ask me! There are so many amazing products there that you can’t go wrong at all.
So even if you don’t have a receipt, you’ve used the item, you just dislike the item, take it back. The company wants to you to love them and they only want to sell really great products. When they get a lot of returns on products or if customers are regularly dissatisfied, they will stop carrying an item. It is a great store for a reason! They listen to the customers both verbally and by their behavior. So they would want you to bring it back to them if you are not happy. They want to know.
