Last night, I posted about the Fashion Star picks from those that were purchased. God only knows why, but the show doesn’t post the photos of the items on their Pinterest page until the next day. As a result, I wasn’t able to post the items I liked from the selections that were not bought buy Macy’s, Saks or H&M from last night’s episode.
The first one I want to talk about is Ross Bennett’s dress. I think it would look good on a lot of different body types. I don’t blame the buyers for rejecting it though. I don’t think they would sell in the mass market but I think he should set up a table in the parking lot of a Katie Perry concert and he’d do very well.
My boyfriend thinks the buyers made a mistake. He has a thing for the 1950s. (I don’t think he realizes he’s not in the 1950s and that his girlfriend is a feminist, not someone who would follow the standards for women in the 1950s.)
Here are Ross’ dresses:
I’m really into colorblocking (and so is everyone else right now) so I don’t have a clue as to why they didn’t want to buy Ronnie’s black and teal dress. I really liked it but just didn’t like the belt. I wonder if they would have liked it if it was a different more bright color instead of black.
Lastly, I loved Orly’s adjustable pants. That sounds like a funny way to describe them, but I think they are awesome for practical reasons. I’ve been in situations where you leave your house and it’s kind of chilly but then it gets hot during the same day but you don’t have the ability to change your clothes. These would be great for our crazy Ohio weather!
